Padarn Lake Hotel Access Statement
This access statement for the Padarn Lake Hotel is an honest
description of the current situation which we hope will enable
potential guests and customers to make an informed decision as to
how we meet their needs.
The Main Hotel Entrance (which gives access to reception, the lounge
bar, restaurant and cocktail bar) is up three steps from the front
door. The Lounge Bar / Function room entrance is up two steps from
street level. There is step free access to all the hotels' ground
floor areas (Function room, Lounge Bar, Reception, Cocktail bar &
restaurant) via the side entrance in Padarn Road. This door is
normally kept locked shut for security, but guests requiring step
free access should inform us and we can meet them at this entrance.
Once in the building, all of the reception, lounge bar, cocktail
bar, function room and restaurant is on the ground floor with no
steps.
All our rooms are on the first and second floors. There is no lift.
All rooms have kettles (mostly cordless), TV, Tea & Coffee making
facilities, hairdryer and a direct dial telephone. All rooms are
centrally heated with adjustable radiators. All rooms are ensuite.
Our menus are also available in large print by request. All our
staff could read the menu out to those who require it. We always
have a tasty selection of meat, fish & vegetarian dishes & special
diets can be catered for by request.
Lighting levels are adjustable in all the public areas.
We do not permit pets anywhere in the hotel. However registered
guide/assistance dogs are permitted.
Padarn Lake Hotel is a TOTALLY NO SMOKING venue. Smoking is strictly
prohibited in all areas, including the bedrooms which are all fitted
with sensitive smoke detectors
Wireless Internet is available for guests with the appropriate
equipment. As a guest in Padarn Lake, you are
entitled to use this service free of charge.
The signal covers most of the hotel, depending on the strength of
you wireless adaptor. Most times the network is protected by a 'WEP'
key. Please ask a member of staff on site for the current key.
At all times a member of staff is available should our guests need
help or assistance. During the night, emergency help can be summoned
by ringing the bell at reception, calling '880' on the bedroom
telephones or the phone at reception or calling the main hotel
telephone number.
